24th Annual Benefit Dinner Cruise - Stillwater Veterans Memorial

Join us for our 24th Annual Benefit Dinner Cruise honoring all Military Veterans. Boarding starts at 4:30 P.M. , boat leaves dock at 5:45 P.M., and is scheduled to return to dock at 8:00 P.M.

Tickets will be on sale until Thursday Aug, 13th at 6pm so please get your tickets before then. If you are unable to purchase your tickets online before the deadline, please call 612-460-8770 or email info@stillvetmem.org to check the availability of "walk-up" tickets. We will be taking walk up participants on the day of the cruise and will be accepting cash, check or card for tickets and also still have a few Veteran Donor (free) tickets available. Cruise on the largest St. Croix Boat & Packet vessel the "Avalon Paddlewheel" from Stillwater on the beautiful St. Croix River. Enjoy our program including our Featured Speaker Col. John Kline, Marine Corps veteran and former 2nd District Congressman. Also among our very honored guests will be a number of WWII veterans and a Holocaust survivor. As always, we will serving a delicious buffet dinner, cash bar, incredible raffles and conversations with our veterans. All guests are entered into a drawing for one Veteran Paver to be installed Veterans Day 2026 (a $400 value). All proceeds from our annual benefit cruise goes toward the maintenance of our memorial and directly supports annual Memorial Day and Veterans Day ceremonies and other on-site programing.

ABOUT COLONEL JOHN KLINE: Colonel John Kline, USMC (Ret.), served 25 years on active duty in the United States Marine Corps as a helicopter pilot and senior military leader. A veteran of operations in Vietnam and Somalia, he flew “Marine One” with Marine Helicopter Squadron One and served as Marine Corps aide to Presidents Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan. After retiring from the Marine Corps in 1994, Kline represented Minnesota’s 2nd Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives for 14 years, where his committee assignments included the House Armed Services Committee, the House Committee on Education and the Workforce—a committee he chaired for six years—the Intelligence Committee and the Ethics Committee. John lives in Burnsville, Minnesota, with his wife, Vicky, a retired U.S. Army nurse. He is particularly proud of his two children, one of whom recently retired from the U.S. Army as a major general, and his four grandchildren.

Our complimentary tickets for Veterans are now available (up to 70) and we will have additional tickets available for Veterans at a discounted price of $15 after the free tickets are claimed. All other guests are $35 per ticket for adults and $15 per ticket for children 17 and under. We also have a Sponsor A Veteran ticket which will cover the cost of your tickets, if you need financial assistance in attending, please email us and we will find you a ticket. DIRECTIONS:

Just in case you are not familiar with Stillwater, here are directions to the Stillwater River Boats.

From the North, just get on Highway 95 south through downtown, when you get to the last parking lot (Lot #1) on the left, enter the south side of the lot and stay south along the river for unloading and parking*. Look for our "blue" registration booth.

From the South, following Highway 36 east or from the west, just get on Highway 95 north, when approaching downtown look for the first parking lot (Lot #1) on the right then enter the south side of the lot and stay south along the river for unloading and parking*. Look for our "blue" registration booth.

*Parking along the river fills fast!
