SYMPOSIUM NO. 2

We have heard the call and we are responding to the interest and enthusiasm to create another Crystal Singing Bowl Symposium.

Susie, Mignon and Carmen are delighted to invite you to the second gathering of Crystal Singing Bowl Therapists, Players and Enthusiasts for a weekend of sharing, collaboration, co-operation, and FUN.

22nd – 24th September, 2023

Friday 5pm – Sunday 5pm

Five years have passed since the first Symposium and as a crystal singing bowl community we have grown and spread our wings. Now many others are playing crystal bowls and have developed innovative ways to bring peace, healing, comfort and inspiration to clients and groups across the world.

Each time we play the bowls with a clear intent of Goodwill, the harmonising sound vibrations of the crystal bowls spread out around the world raising the global vibration to the next octave.

Will you join us this September and bring your love, knowledge, and skilful playing of crystal singing bowls to share?

During the weekend, we will have a number of 45 minute, and a couple of 1-hour workshops where we will learn from each other. In an environment of collaboration and co-operation we will support the deepening of ways in which we can serve humanity with the pure energy of the crystal singing bowls.

A beautiful event will take place on Saturday evening when we will Live-Stream “The Peace Chord” concert out into the world.

The Symposium will be inspiring and elevating. With lots of laughter, soulfulness and fun, we will increase our knowledge and leave the weekend enriched by the experience.

FRIDAY 22 September

“Raja Yoga Meditation with Alchemy Crystal Bowls” - Carmen Warrington & Susie Nelson-SmithWith respect for the spiritual practices of our hosts here at the BK retreat centre, we invite you to a short introduction and experience of Raja Yoga Meditation.

“A Sound and Spoken Word Experience for Mental Health” - Tara and Doug Skipper
Sublime sounds of didgeridoo, keyboard, crystal bowls and acoustic guitar, interwoven with spoken word pieces focusing on themes of unity-in-diversity, personal and collective growth, transformation, transcendence and surrender.

SATURDAY 23 September

“Yin Yoga and Soundbath” - Anastasia Giovanoglou & Sonia Nesci
A unique, beautiful experience of passive stress relief through yin yoga and soundbath meditation. Sonia guides us through gentle yin poses to balance each chakra, while Anastasia plays the chakra note for each pose.

“Resonance of Return: Listening for the Sacred Inner Voice” - Toni Whitmont
Toni explains how resonance, vibration and deep listening lie at the centre of her spiritual lineage (Kabbalah or Jewish mysticism), followed by a crystal sound experience based on the Shema, the cornerstone of Hebrew prayer.

“Singing with your Crystal Bowls” - Katrina Noela
Katrina guides us in toning and singing freely with crystal bowls. Learn about your voice, breath and body. Nurture your abilities and boost your self-confidence in utilising your voice as a vital element of your sound work.

“Frequency and Crystal Bowls” - Judy Anne LoveLight
Judy introduces us to the benefits and healing qualities of alchemy crystal bowls, the concept of frequency as a healing modality and research on the structural changes observed at a cellular level, after exposure to the pure tones of the bowls.

“The Musical Potential of Crystal Bowls” - Robbie Hart with Rune
A presentation of songs that have inspired Robbie to play her crystal bowls musically in the 528 Hz frequency. Interspersed with stories of how these songs evolved and the musical collaboration of Rune on keyboard & vocals with Robbie’s celestial orchestra of crystal bowls.

“The Peace Chord: Lifting the Vibration” - Concert

SUNDAY 24 September

“Raja Yoga Meditation with Crystal Bowls” - Carmen Warrington and Susie Nelson-Smith
An expansive meditation of soul-consciousness and connection to the Divine.

“Angkor Grace, a Place for Sound therapy, and a Surprise Announcement” - Elain Younn
Elain introduces us to her spectacular Healing Centre Angkor Grace, which she has planned and built at one of Earth’s sacred sites, Angkor Wat, and the potential for healers-in-residence. And a surprise announcement.

“Being the Crystal Bowl-Awakening the Quantum Body with Voice”- Suzy Flowers, Mignon Mukti
Guided by Suzy and Mignon, we will enter the 3 gateways of Stillness, Sound and Silence using the breath, simple yoga poses, the external frequencies of Alchemical Crystal Bowls and the inner frequencies of our own voices to awaken and balance the Chakras.

“Crystal flow - Moving Meditation with Crystal Bowls and Live Music” - Geeti & Gyan, with Barbara Jackson
Geeti guides us through a gentle and nourishing movement meditation supported by Barbara’s crystal bowls and Gyan’s array of beautiful instruments. We are invited to move from the inside out, cultivating awareness, and connecting with our authentic energy flow. Both joyful and calming.
