CSIP-AUS Connect 2025: Building Australia's interoperable energy future
Event description
Australia is in the enviable position of leading the world in the adoption of rooftop solar. Smoothly integrating the renewable energy produced by these decentralised assets into the energy ecosystem is one of the major challenges of our time.
This industry event seeks to build collaboration and advance Australia's energy interoperability efforts through a two-day knowledge sharing conference and the launch of a new CSIP-AUS national testing and certification service.
CSIP-AUS, or the Common Smart Inverter Profile - Australia, serves as a pivotal standard for Distributed Energy Resources (DER) management in Australia. Designed to facilitate robust and secure communication between DERs and utility networks, CSIP-AUS is integral in navigating the complexities of modern energy systems in Australia.
This industry event will bring together key stakeholders to learn from one another and collectively explore the benefits and challenges associated with nationally consistent testing and certification within Australia's energy landscape, as well as broader DER integration issues.
