Event description

Join us for a free technical workshop led by Michael Ricci, a staff engineer at Linktree!

Observability patterns are established methodologies and practices for monitoring, analysing, and troubleshooting the behaviour and performance of applications, typically involving the collection of logs, metrics, traces, and other data points.

Discover how to observe a basic Node.js service with OpenTelemetry and Datadog! Find out why observability patterns are so important and how knowledge of them can impact your career!

All experiences levels are welcome! No pre-reading is needed and an overview will be provided, but if you’re really keen, you can look into OpenTelemetry and observability patterns more broadly, specifically the nature of logs, metrics and traces.

Join us for an awesome in-person CSIT Technical Workshop with Michael Ricci of Linktree where you'll learn all about Observability Patterns!
