Event description

Join us for a blissful morning of shared meditation practice, self-inquiry, deep listening and open-hearted conversations with the beautiful community you are surrounded by.

Our first Call To Presence of the year. Together we will ground in our personal intentions and a sense of wonder and awe for the year ahead.

Together we become present to our struggles, fears, hopes, heart aches and joy and learn how to alchemise the places we feel stuck. By understanding the myths we cling to we can slowly unravel a more compassionate understanding of our actions, habits and behaviours to reveal a more expansive curiosity towards the choices we can make.

You will...

  • Slow down & rest your heart
  • Connect with your whole self and share yourself authentically.
  • Practice self compassion for yourself and others by understanding our greater context.
  • Engage in shared practices in community which enhance gentle accountability where discipline is embodied as self-nurturance.
  • Come together with a community of like-hearted people to elevate and anchor to personal and collective action.

In turbulent and uncertain times I hope to provide a space that can be your sanctuary. If you’ve had a hard week and are feeling fatigued, please feel welcomed to enter as you are. Whether you prefer to be the quiet observer or thrive in opportunities to connect deeply with others by sharing your voice - all parts of you are welcomed. There is no expectation to be anything but how you are in that moment.

This space is whatever you need it to be.

With all my love,

Gianna

Who is the Facilitator?

Gianna is a gentle and compassionate meditation teacher of Sri Lankan Australian heritage, informed by her upbringing within Theravada Buddhist tradition and childhood nourished by mindfulness practices. These principles and virtues guided her towards serving young people since 2015, providing them with a safe space to lean into vulnerability in order to build empathy and self-awareness.

She is deeply passionate about building a sense of home within community, as striving towards greater wellness and self-development can easily become a very isolated journey. Gianna has since combined ancient eastern philosophy and her degree in psychology to bring forward a holistic understanding of self-healing. Gianna creates a safe container for all people to arrive as they are, accompanying participants with every step as they unveil their own wisdom through her gentle inquiry.
