26 July Fundraiser for Cuba - Día de la Rebeldía Nacional

¡Viva Cuba! Solidarity Fundraiser Gig

Sunday 26 July 2026 · Dissent

Join us for an evening of music, poetry, and solidarity as we mark one of the most significant dates in the Cuban calendar — the anniversary of the Moncada Barracks assault, commemorated across Cuba as the Day of National Rebellion.

To celebrate, we're bringing together Latin bands, dancing, spoken word, and speeches for a night that's as much about celebration as it is about solidarity. All proceeds raised on the night will go directly toward supporting Cuban solidarity work.

On the night:

• 🎶 Live music — get ready to dance

• 🎤 Poetry and spoken word

• 🗣️ Speeches on Cuba, solidarity, and the struggle against the blockade

• 🎟️ Raffle with prizes

Come for the music, stay for the solidarity. Bring your friends, your dancing shoes, and your support for the Cuban people.

Doors: 3:00pm
Venue: Dissent
Entry: $10/15

All welcome — this is a night for the whole community to come together in solidarity with Cuba.
