🎵 ABOUT CUBAN SALSA & RUEDA DE CASINO

Cuban Salsa (Casino) originated in 1950s Cuba, evolving from Son, Cha-Cha-Cha, and Danzón, blending European and African influences. Today, its rich musical and dance traditions continue and include styles like Rumba, Afro-Cuban Orishas, Mambo, and Cubaton—all part of what we teach at The Cuban Groove!

Rueda is a super fun and social way to dance Cuban Salsa! Danced in a circle with a group of couples, everyone follows the moves called out by a leader — and the best part? You get to switch partners and share the energy with everyone in the circle. It's all about connection, rhythm, and having a great time together!
