A music-driven night of rhythm, soul, and screen-shaking visuals at the SHACK15 social club.

Get ready for a high-energy evening where the music takes center stage. Cue the Music at SHACK15 transforms San Francisco’s iconic Ferry Building into a dynamic celebration of sound and movement on screen. This year’s soundtrack spans genres and generations: Grammy-winning artist Imogen Heap teams up with Pattie Gonia for a song about what we take for granted, global pop icon Harry Styles scores the unraveling of a relationship, and soul revivalists Durand Jones & The Indications set the tone for a night at the club gone thrillingly off-script. Blues powerhouse Susan Tedeschi and a mix of rising and independent artists round out a lineup built as much for the dance floor as the screen.

With drinks and the chance to mingle with festival filmmakers, this is more than a film screening — it’s a party for music lovers, dance fans, and anyone who wants to feel the beat in their feet.

Tickets purchased at the door will cost $1 additional per ticket.

Venue Accessibility: SHACK15 is located on the 2nd floor of San Francisco’s Ferry Building. Please use the elevator to come to the 2nd floor in the Ferry Building’s “Office Lobby” – located underneath the giant clock tower, on the left side of the main market entrance.

About the 2026 San Francisco Dance Film Festival: 

The San Francisco Dance Film Festival marks its seventeenth year this fall with over 80 films celebrating dance in all its forms, from world-class ballet to endangered folkloric traditions. Eighteen in-person screenings run October 23 through November 8 at venues across San Francisco, complete with artist Q&As, panels, and community gatherings, followed by an Online Festival from November 9 through 30 featuring short film programs and online-only features.
