A Morning of Cultural Connection with Aunty Corrina

Join us at Born Wild for a special morning of cultural connection, nature and community with Aunty Corrina.

Held on Wadawurrung Country, this session offers children and families an opportunity to slow down, listen, learn and connect with Country through the knowledge and stories shared by Aunty Corrina.

This is a relaxed, family-friendly session designed for our mixed-age learning community, welcoming children from babies through to 12 years. Younger children can learn through observation and exploration, while older children have opportunities to listen, participate and develop a deeper sense of connection, respect and belonging.

Cultural Connection Session: 1 hour
Cost: $15 per child, $20 per family, inclusive of all card fees

Born Wild Community is a registered charitable social enterprise. All income is reinvested into our programs, resources and work to increase access for families.

Our programs bring children of different ages together in a rich mixed-age environment, where children can learn from one another, build relationships and develop leadership, empathy and independence.

Each program runs with dedicated facilitators to support children's safety, participation and developmental needs.

As a self-funded organisation, sessions require minimum enrolment numbers to proceed. If a session cannot go ahead, families will be offered an alternative session or a full refund of their registration fee.

‘Bellawiyn’ is a commissioned piece by artist Billy-Jay O’Toole, a proud Wadawurrung man.

‘Bellawiyn’ was commissioned as an important step to connect Bellarine Bayside as an organisation to the rich Wadawurrung culture of the coastal reserve and to demonstrate our ongoing commitment to acknowledge, respect, understand and celebrate Wadawurrung culture and history.

The artwork features Wadawurrung stories and reflects the importance and use of the area for Wadawurrung People as well as highlighting aspects of the coastal reserve still seen today.
