Glebe NAIDOC is excited to take you on a journey...Glebe's Cultural History Tour is back!

Join us for NAIDOC week as we hear the stories of First Nation people Get Up! Stand Up! Show Up!

NAIDOC is a community celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures. There is a full week of events recognising the contributions of Indigenous Australians within our community. Amongst these events, is a free historical tour of Glebe.

Glebe has a long history and is full of interesting landmarks. Find out more about the culture and history of this diverse community by attending a free 1hr45 history tour. Our tour takes you on a journey of pre-contact, climate change, culture, social justice, racism, Stolen Generations, Forgotten Australians, Women's liberation, and the power of protest that is fundamentally Glebe.

A smoking ceremony will be performed during both tours as part of cultural protocol.

This year we are bringing you something new and exciting! We have provided QR codes that will help you throughout your journey, you will be able to explore on your own device to further your understanding and knowledge of Glebe.
