Cultural Sharing Dinners

Experience the interwoven aspects of food and culture at our bi-monthly cultural sharing dinners. These dinners create an opportunity for local residents, neighbours and friends to come together to share the rich cultural diversity that exists in our multicultural community.  Our hosts introduce guests to their national culture through talks, videos, displays of cultural artefacts and national costumes.  Our guests love the interactive nature of the events and the participation in the preparation of an ethnic dish as demonstrated by our hosts.  Guests interact, mix and mingle and make new friends and sit to enjoy a wonderful meal with our hosts. Guests are gifted a memento of the evening in the form of a professionally produced recipe card.  

These events are delivered by Victoria Park Centre for the Arts in collaboration with Victoria Park Community Centre.  Supported by the Department of Communities.
