CULTURAL WORKSHOP: Beginner Bracelet Weaving | HDO '26

Join Aboriginal fibre artist Jessika Spencer (Ngurru) for a relaxed bracelet weaving workshop designed especially for beginners.

In this hands on session, participants will learn the foundations of weaving techniques to create their own wearable bracelet. No prior experience is needed, this workshop is perfect for first time makers and anyone wanting to slow down and make something by hand. Jessika will guide you through the process, sharing tips on working with fibres, building tension, and finishing your piece. All materials are provided, and there is plenty of space to work at your own pace.

This workshop is as much about connection and mindfulness as it is about making, an opportunity to sit, yarn, and create in a supportive environment.
