In partnership with the First Peoples Disability Network (Australia), Girra Maa Indigenous Health at the School of Public Health UTS warmly welcomes you to an event to celebrate an Indigenous culture of the inclusion of people with disability.

Marked to coincide with the sixth-year anniversary of the ‘Culture is Inclusion’ book, the event will showcase art and dance highlighting First Nations disability knowledge and cultural practice, and feature a keynote address by Professor Scott Avery.

The event will bring together the First Nations and disability communities with community organisations, researchers, and government partners for a night of celebration and networking.

From 4 pm. Cultural program and oration starts promptly at 5 pm. 

Dress code: 

In the spirit of celebration, the theme is ‘something that sparkles’. 

We invite you to dress to theme and wear something that sparkles - a sparkly hat or shirt, or your sparkling smile and eyes.

We look forward to sharing this celebration with you.
