intertwine is thrilled to announce our first dedicated Community of Practice for intersectionality advisers and diversity officers working in local government.

This is a unique opportunity for practitioners, diversity champions and policy advisers to connect, collaborate and galvanise their practice and expertise. Participants will be drawn from local councils across the country, working at the intersections of community and social justice.

The Community of Practice will be co-facilitated by grassroots changemaker Jill Faulkner and longtime intersectional activist Rosanne Bersten. They will draw on the expertise and experience of participants in a peer-led approach to share practice and policy challenges and unpack opportunities for collaboration.

Sessions will be held on the third Thursday of each month from 1:00pm Australian Eastern Time to 3.00pm Australian Eastern Time, commencing in June 2023. Please let us know if you need an invoice rather than a credit card payment by emailing rosanne@intertwine.org.au.
