Join us on Saturday 1 August 2026 at the stunning National Ballroom at Hotel Realm for the Curated Gala Night for a Cause, a powerful Canberra community event bringing together business leaders, media personalities, charities, Curated community members and changemakers for a night dedicated to saving lives, creating impact and giving back.

Proudly aligned with DonateLife Week 2026, the evening will raise awareness for the life-saving importance of organ and tissue donation and encourage important conversations around becoming a registered donor. Through powerful storytelling, lived experience speakers and community action, the event aims to help inspire more Canberran’s to register and potentially help save lives.

What started as a way to help people feel less alone, Curated has grown into something so much bigger. At a time where so many people are craving genuine connection, Curated is bringing people together in real life not just to connect, but to do good, support important causes and create impact that extends far beyond a single event.

Thanks to Platinum Sponsor DOMA Hotels, the gala will bring together the Canberra community for an elevated evening of purpose, awareness and impact in one of the city’s premier event spaces.

Hosted by ABC Radio Canberra’s James Findlay, the gala will feature a beautiful three course dinner, four hour drinks package, entertainment by GJ DJ (Georgie Jones), silent auction, raffle prizes and powerful keynote speakers sharing lived experiences of organ and tissue donation, survival, resilience and hope.

A special “10 Minutes of Power” activation will unite the room in a collective moment of impact, encouraging guests to come together and register as organ and tissue donors on the spot during DonateLife Week.

The evening will also feature basketball pioneer and NBL Hall of Famer Cal Bruton OAM, whose Bruton Basketball Foundation supports disadvantaged and at risk youth, including Indigenous communities, through mentorship, leadership programs, education and sport.

Curated has chosen to partner with BBF because of the strong alignment around community impact and reaching younger audiences, particularly young men, to help encourage important conversations around organ and tissue donor registration. Proceeds raised through the evening’s silent auction and raffle will help fund youth mentorship programs, community workshops, leadership opportunities and support initiatives that create positive pathways and opportunities for young people.

In true Curated style, the evening will also feature Curated Tables for guests attending solo or wanting to meet new people throughout the night.
