Explore the SCAPE Public Art Season 2023 artworks with Richard Aindow, SCAPE's Executive Director.
On this free walking tour, you will get unique insights into each of the season artworks as you enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of central ÅŒtautahi Christchurch.
Beginning with Priscilla Rose Howe’s remarkable frieze, Making Fantasy A Reality, and finishing with the winning Re:ACTIVATE work by school-age artists, this guided art experience will give you background information on the artwork and artists, as well as an inside perspective on the sometimes bumpy road from initial concept to installation.
The walk traces a loop, starting and finishing at Te Matatiki Toi Ora The Arts Centre.
It covers approximately 4km. Allow 1.5 hours. Please wear comfortable footwear and dress for the weather.
