Curiosity Cultivates Intuition - Zenthai Shiatsu Elements Workshop

ABOUT

Zenthai Shiatsu is a unique combination of thai massage and zen shiatsu viewed through the lens of Traditional Chinese Medicine. 

Working with presence and curiosity, participants will engage with new ways of experiencing their body, as well as having the opportunity to deepen their connection to the medicine of felt sensing through the art of healing touch.

We will explore Zenthai Shiatsu massage techniques so that you will be able to practice this work on others. These are powerful tools to add to your bodywork arsenal, or can also be an ideal starting point for those who have never learnt a massage practice. 

When we get curious by putting aside the thinking mind and its desires to understand and get things right, intuition arises naturally. Your intuition contains your unique gifts and offerings to life. As we learn Zenthai Shiatsu massage techniques, you will be encouraged to work with curiosity and see if your intuitive touch begins to blossom.  

WHO IS IT FOR?

This workshop can benefit absolute beginners in movement and bodywork practices as well as experienced movers and practicing Zenthai Shiatsu Therapists. If your curiosity and/or intuition are calling you to attend, this can be trusted.

WHAT TO BRING

Comfortable clothes that you can move in.

A bed doona to lay on for receiving massage. 

SAFETY

You won't have to get hands on with anyone you don't want to touch or be touched by, and you won't have to justify or explain yourself in this regard. Your "no" when expressed is a gift and example for all who have been taught to "people please”.

FACILITATOR

Nicholas is a Zenthai Shiatsu therapist, music mentor and contact improvisation enthusiast. This combination of passions informs his Zenthai Shiatsu practice and workshop facilitation style. He is currently completing his Internal Tracking training - a somatic talk based therapeutic modality intended to process felt experience.
