Auckland's market for everything you were told not to ask about.

Ever walked past something, wanted to know more, and kept walking because it felt too awkward to ask? You're not alone. Shame has a way of shutting the door on anything

labelled "taboo," whether that's pleasure, kink, bodies, or just your own curiosity.

We built this market to open that door.

What's on

Local makers, sellers and small businesses in the adult and alternative space, all in one room
A book corner full of romance and spicy reads, swap a book or $10 a book
A free-entry prize draw (no purchase needed)
Friendly vendors who are happy to chat, answer questions, and never judge
Variety of entertainers keeping you tantalized

Who it's for

Anyone over 18 who's curious. That includes first-timers, the seasoned and the "just looking." Come with a friend, a partner, or on your own. There's no dress code, no

pressure, and no wrong reason to be here.

Why a ticket?

Your ticket keeps the event safe, age-checked, and supports local vendors building something real in this community. Includes a branded shopping bag and surprise treat.

Curious? That's the whole point. See you there.

Code of Conduct

Curious Adult Market is a shame-free space. Come curious, be kind, and ask before you touch.

Ask first. People, products, photos. If it isn't a clear yes, it's a no.
No judgement. Don't comment on what people browse, buy, wear or look like.
Adults only. Strictly 18+. Bring photo ID; we may check it at the door.
Clothing required. Costumes and fetish wear welcome, but genitals and nipples must stay covered. No sexual activity.
No photos of people without their consent. Our official photographer wears a marked lanyard, and you can say no.
What happens here stays here. Don't share who you saw.
No alcohol or drugs. Visibly intoxicated guests will be refused entry.
Something feel off? Find an organiser in a gold lanyard, or email comein@curiousadultmarket.co.nz. Reports are confidential and you don't need proof. In an emergency, call 111.

Breaking the code can mean a warning, removal without a refund, or a ban from future markets.

We never sell or rent your information, and we never ask about your sexual preferences.
