Curious Creatures Watercolour Workshop
Event description
Designed for young artists of all skill levels, our 2-hour Curious Creatures Watercolour Workshop offers a fun and supportive environment to explore the world of drawing. Whether students are interested in sketching animals, characters or imaginary landscapes, our experienced illustrators will guide them through essential techniques and help them bring their ideas to life.
Students will be introduced to the basics of creature design, exploring step-by-step instructions to design their own unique animal, creature or monster. They will then choose their favourite design and bring it to life using watercolour and pencils.
This workshop is aimed at students 10 -14 with a passion for drawing.
Parents are also welcome to enjoy the workshop for a small additional fee (to cover materials). No ticket is required to supervise/observe.
This event is run in partnership with CDW Studios and as part of the 2025 Nature Festival.
What you will need: All materials will be supplied on the day inluding paper, pencils and watercolour supplies. If you would like to use your own materials or sketch book, you are welcome to bring that with you.
