Currency Creek Arboretum open days and guided tours
Event description
Free guided tours of the arboretum by eucalypt expert and arboretum curator Dean Nicolle, beginning twice daily at 10 am and 2 pm. Guided tours are up to two hours in duration, but you can drop off the tour at any stage. Don't forget a hat and good walking shoes!
Currency Creek Arboretum has the world’s largest collection of eucalypt species, with over 900 species and over 10,000 individual trees planted over 32 hectares.

Meet at Currency Creek Arboretum, about one hour’s drive south of Adelaide city centre. Follow the signs from Adelaide Place, which joins Alexandrina Road (the Goolwa to Strathalbyn road) about 1.5 km north of Currency Creek, about 19 km south of Ashbourne, and about 26 km south of Strathalbyn.
