Currently Speaking Energy Trivia
Event description
You've read the newsletter, now it's time to answer the questions!
Will Peter Dutton ever get his photo op turning the sod of Australia's first nuclear power plant?
What is the difference between clean coal and hot air?
If the energy density of solar panels continues to increase exponentially, when is the earliest we could fit 1 kilowatt of solar on Matt Canavan's forehead?
What?
Currently Speaking is hosting a trivia event! (About energy, duh). Come along to answer silly energy-themed questions like this and more!
There'll also be plenty of time before and after to stand around and talk about energy (only energy; nothing else).
Tickets are strictly limited. Don't wait for a grid connection, get in quick!
When is it?
Wednesday 23 October 2024
Doors open from 6:30 pm.
Trivia starts at 7:30 pm sharp.
Where is it?
Fall from Grace hidden cellar bar at the State of Grace hotel
(27 King St, Melbourne VIC 3000)
How much is it?
$25 a ticket.
100% of profits will be donated to the First Nations Clean Energy Network.
What's in it (for me)?
Food and prizes, prizes, prizes! We'll put on a selection of bar food. Drinks available to purchase at bar prices (it's being hosted in a bar).
Come and grab a bite to eat and unequivocally demonstrate your superior knowledge of niche energy topics in a room full of your peers and frenemies.
Also this is your chance to shout at Alex and Declan in person.
How will I get there?
If you're attending the All Energy conference, it's a short walk across the river. We recommend not swimming across the Yarra (or going in the Yarra, ever), but like nuclear, all options are on the table.
