The Steering Committee of the Curtin Early to Mid-Career Researcher (EMCR) Network invite you to the Curtin EMCR Research Symposium on Thursday October 24th 2024 at the Bentley Campus.
The purpose of this symposium is to provide the opportunity for EMCRs to showcase their research, with a focus on impact and innovative approaches. It is also an excellent chance to network with researchers from across the Curtin campuses.
Highlights:
- Keynote presentation by Professor Anthony J. Langlois on “Opportunities, dilemmas and norms: on the ethics of AI use in research”,
- Panel discussion: “How can we expect the National University Accord to impact early to mid-career researchers?”
- Presentations by EMCRs. Multidisciplinary talks across all faculties.
- Networking sundowner. Relax and connect with peers.
- Presentation Prizes: Recognising outstanding research
