Custom Lip Gloss Making

A world of gloss, colour, and creativity comes to life in this hands-on lip gloss workshop at The Grounds of Alexandria. From shimmering pigments and sweet scents to runway-worthy shine, guests will create their own custom lip gloss to take home and wear!

Designed for beauty lovers of all ages, the workshop invites kids, teens, and adults to experiment with colour, shine, and scent to create something uniquely their own.

This experience is recommended for ages 8+ years, and adults are very welcome to join. Please note that all participants, including adults and children, will require a ticket to attend.

What to Expect?

Please note that bookings are essential and places will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to book early to avoid missing out.

Please Note

The Lip Lab lip glosses are made with naturally derived wax, ozokerite, caster seed oil, vitamin E and jojoba oil. The ingredients have been thoroughly tested for safety and are on the FDAs GRAS list. All scents are food-grade and lip-safe, and their products are Leaping Bunny certified cruelty-free.

• Please only purchase the tickets you need so more people can join the fun!

• This experience is suitable for ages 8+ years. We know every child is different, so use your best judgement to decide if this activity is right for your little one.

• All participants in this workshop (kids and adults alike!) will need a ticket to make their own custom lipgloss.

• Any children (under 16 years), must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times during this workshop.

• Can't make it? Refunds are available up to 72 hours before the event. Refunds cover the face value of the ticket but not booking fees, as these are charged by Humanitix. For details, check out their website.

• Please aim to arrive at least 10 minutes before the start of your session and check in with our staff in The Atrium.

• Parking and transport in the area can be challenging, so please allow plenty of travel time.

• This is an indoor event, so rain or shine, it's happening!

• Please note that this workshop uses cosmetic ingredients - if you have any allergies or sensitivities, please check the suitability before booking.

• Every lip gloss created is unique, so expect plenty of one-of-a-kind, custom sparkle moments!

• Food and drinks are available from The Cafe, The Garden, and The Potting Shed and we strongly recommend that you make a reservation ahead of time to skip the wait!
