Custom design your own T-shirt workshop

Welcome to Tinkd Makerspace Maker Workshop Series in Tauranga!
Join us as we dive into one of the many maker resources we have at Tinkd.
Learn the basics about Inkscape, how to design, cut, and heat transfer your own custom graphics onto t-shirts!
This is an entry level beginners workshop and no experience required - our friendly team will take you through all the steps. The workshop is open to children aged 8 years+. Spaces are limited so get in quick before we sell out.
What's included:
- Computing stations and software
- Heat vinyls
- Tools to set designs
- Heat press
- Light snacks for all participants
What's NOT included:
- T-shirt. Please bring a T-shirt with you. Ideally it should be plain on the back to accommodate the design and made from cotton. There's no need to buy a new t-shirt, why not repurpose and recycle an existing one?
Please note: adult supervision is required for the duration of the workshop for all children under 14 years of age. There is no cost for adult supervisors to attend.
COVID-19 Policy. Following guidelines from the government, from 4th April all My Vaccine Pass requirements will be removed from STEM Wana Trust events. Face masks will be encouraged, but not mandatory.
