Cut & Create - collages with Amanda Gardner
Event description
Collage is one of the most democratic art forms there is. This wonderfully accessible process of cut and paste and the simplicity of construction, allows us to dive into an exploration of all things human - politics, protest, ideas, stories, design, technique, imagery, creativity.
During this workshop we will make a number of collages, concentrating on how we can move beyond the intuitive towards intentional expression by investigating elements of design and how they can be used to making compelling imagery. Amanda will share techniques and materials and explain her approach to sustainable art making.
Limited to 6 participants
Suitable for young adults and adults. All materials and tools supplied.
Cancellation policy: Due to cost of materials and equipment purchased specifically for the workshop a refund of 75% workshop fee is offered for cancellations.
