    Event description

As part of this year’s Central Victorian Indigenous Film Festival during Reconciliation Week, the Bendigo Reconciliation Committee presents a small group self-reflection workshop on culture, privilege, and racism.

The workshop utilises a conversation-based approach and will also feature a series of short films. The aim of the workshop is to support people in reflecting on personal attitudes and beliefs surrounding mainstream culture, white privilege, and racism and how personal beliefs and attitudes impact on the relationship and reconciliation with First Nations peoples.

This workshop would be very useful for those wanting to learn more about reconciliation, how to be an ally, and how to drive change.

Doors open at 6pm (light catering supplied), with the workshop running from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.

Hosted by the Bendigo Reconciliation Group and City of Greater Bendigo.
