Escape to the heart of the Peak District for a special off-grid weekend of live music, connection, and campfire magic. The Campervan Live Lounge Gathering is an intimate, outdoor celebration of independent music, bringing together some of the UK’s top independent songwriters in a truly unique setting.
Set against wide open skies and rolling hills, this is a stripped-back, feel-good gathering where the music comes first. Expect soulful live performances, acoustic sessions by the fire, and the kind of up-close atmosphere where artists and audience share the same space.
With campervans, campfires, and a friendly, like-minded crowd, the weekend is all about slowing down, tuning in, and soaking up incredible songs in a relaxed, welcoming environment. No big stages, no noise — just honest music, warm conversations, and a community brought together by a love of great songwriting.

Lineup
Dave Manning
He’s played Folsom Prison. He’s held up traffic all over the west. Dave is living his life in the old tradition of the traveling-storytellers and songwriters. Dave tours in “Vincent” his ’65 Microbus in the states and during his time in the UK he hits the road in “BB” his brown type 2. In a time when the wandering minstrels have long been replaced by television and Karaoke, Dave is still out there with the last of them. Cruising at a lazy 50mph and playing in a different town every few days, Dave isn’t afraid of “paying his dues.” His bus is full of stories of the road from AK to the high deserts of Arizona and everywhere between. Dave’s voice is most often compared to Tom Waits, and his style on the piano varies widely from soulful ballads to blues, country to boogie-woogie.
Laura Reznek
"I cut my teeth in those dark alleyways/Oh how could I have been so easily swayed?" she sings on her latest full-length album The Sewing Room. Raw and honest, with an elevated DIY-aesthetic, Laura draws on contemporaries such as Nick Drake and folk legend Judee Sill to stare grief back in the face. With tender curiosity and the clarity afforded by retrospect, Laura makes sense of the familial characters in her life while reconstructing her own sense of agency. Appropriately, she created much of the album completely solo, rotating between acoustic instruments, vocals, analog synths, and the piano she inherited from her patrilineal grandmother, Zelda, to create an organic, lo-fi sound that is completely her own.
Clara Pople
Clara Pople is a soul/trip hop looper with the lungs of a deep-sea diver, the heart of a Barbary Lion and the voice of an English choir girl. Using a vocal looper to create densely layered harmonic backing and drawing on her choral and gospel background, Clara's singing makes grown men weep. The artist manipulates classical technique, gospel, and Bristol trip hop music to create darkly poetic unique and original songs.
Samuel Ashton
Samuel Ashton's music has been described as "Deliciously Soulful" by the BBC's Leo Ulph and his latest EP carries a message to "Breathe Easy" with "Stillness in the face of adversity". Samuel's soul voice and classic RnB sound have seen him sell out shows across the UK and make waves with over 320k streams on Spotify and radio play on the BBC, throughout Europe, the United States and Australia. His latest record sees him work with a talented team of musicians including Teskey Brothers' collaborator trombonist Ernest Stuart.
Doad
Based in Manchester, England. Doad dedicates time to writing and recording songs with the aim of bringing, even a molecule, of peace to people who feel they are living in a world that is deviantly spinning into an accelerated state of entropy. Just kidding, pair these songs with a tired body, they could give you something back.
Tom Dibb
Whether you're watching Tom Dibb solo or with band, get set for a beautifully gutsy performance, as he tells his stories with undertones of blues, roots and folk, grown through a forest of soaring acoustic goodness. Tom has found his sound set firmly with an ever growing, loyal fan base that follow him not only across his home turf in the UK, but also across the Globe. Tom's world tour and self drive expedition in his 1989 vw camper-van all the way from the UK to Australia in 2016, lay the foundations and inspiration for much of his material. It fits into mainstream moulds, yet also satisfies a deeper creative taste.
Frankie Roe
Acoustic original music with well crafted folk, pop, roots flavoured songs. Her music tells stories that everyone can relate to. During her performances you can expect many laughs from her bold sense of humour. Her music is empowering to all and she wants to be a voice for those who have been through struggles such as domestic violence, emotional abuse and the trauma that surrounds these topics. Frankie manages to pull on your heartstrings whilst also creating a safe environment for all to laugh, cry and dance to whilst she bares her heart from the stage.
Hannigan
Hannigan is a travelling singer-songwriter. True to his English-Irish roots, he has created a unique sound only identifiable as his own – acoustic soulful folk with distinct influences of carefree surf rock. His earnest and anecdotal writing style carries you like a backpack on an adventure; a journey of heartache, hope, and healing. Eyes will well, feet will tap, and heads will bop. After four years in the making, 2024 saw Hannigan release his debut album ‘I’ll Be Home Soon’

Just add a camping pitch ticket to your order as well as your general admission. Pitches are 5x5 meter or 7x7 meter for up to 4 adults.
- Are children welcome
Yes under 15's are welcome free of charge, under 18's must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- Can I bring my dog?
If your canine companion is a sociable beast by all means bring them along. We just ask that you keep them on a lead around the performance area, and tidy up after them.
- Is there food available?
Zianna of the Camp Canteen will be there with her retro puds and custard plus award winning Bangers with mash.
- Can I bring my own beverages?
During event performance times purchase bevvy's from the Bars. We have our wonderful friends from Bar & Away taking care of all our draught beer and cocktail needs and our very own CamperVan Live Lounge stage 2 'Chuck' will be acting cider truck and coffee wagon.
Down time, by all means water yourselves and please remember to take empties with you at the end of the weekend 🙏 - Are BBQ's Fire pits allowed?
BBQ's and fire pits are allowed but must be at least 1 foot off the ground, and monitored at all times.
- What are the site facilities?
There are none!! 😂
There is a fresh water tap on site, and portable toilets, bring anything else you need with you. We are small gatherings with a small crew and ask you please to take all waste and recycling with you at the end of the event 🙏 - When can I arrive?
Friday and weekend campers are welcome from 15:00 to come set up camp and the gate opens for general admission at 17:00.
Saturday campers are welcome from 13:00 to settle in, and general admission is again from 17:00.
- When does the music start/finish?
Both evenings we'll be going live from 19:00 ish and wrapping amplified music by 23:00 when we'll take it unplugged and fireside.
- What time do we have to leave?
If you are only with us for the Friday night we ask that you vacate the site by 12:00 noon on Saturday before the new arrivals come in.
If you're camping with us till Sunday there is no rush to get off, just so long as you're off site by 17:00.
