CamperVan Live Lounge: Spring Awakening 1 Night 8 Artists!!!

Spring Awakening marks the first event of the season and a true celebration of longer days and fresh beginnings. Set in the heart of the Bedfordshire countryside, this intimate outdoor event brings together vanlifers, music lovers, and free spirits at a beautifully historical pub steeped in character and charm.

As the sun dips, gather around camp fires, share stories, and soak up live music from some of the UK’s top independent songwriters, performing original songs in a relaxed, soulful setting. Fully off-grid and rooted in simplicity, Spring Awakening is about slowing down, and discovering incredible new music under open skies.

Expect warm vibes, crackling fires, and unforgettable performances — the perfect way to welcome the season and kick off the CamperVan Live Lounge year.

    Tom Dibb

    Whether you're watching Tom Dibb solo or with band, get set for a beautifully gutsy performance, as he tells his stories with undertones of blues, roots and folk, grown through a forest of soaring acoustic goodness. Tom has found his sound set firmly with an ever growing, loyal fan base that follow him not only across his home turf in the UK, but also across the Globe. Tom's world tour and self drive expedition in his 1989 vw camper-van all the way from the UK to Australia in 2016, lay the foundations and inspiration for much of his material. It fits into mainstream moulds, yet also satisfies a deeper creative taste.

    Hannigan

    Hannigan is a travelling singer-songwriter. True to his English-Irish roots, he has created a unique sound only identifiable as his own – acoustic soulful folk with distinct influences of carefree surf rock. His earnest and anecdotal writing style carries you like a backpack on an adventure; a journey of heartache, hope, and healing. Eyes will well, feet will tap, and heads will bop. After four years in the making, 2024 saw Hannigan release his debut album ‘I’ll Be Home Soon’

    Joe Topping

    Joe is a singer-songwriter and multi instrumentalist from Merseyside. His literate songwriting and accomplished guitar playing regularly moves listeners to tears and who's charismatic stage presence and engaging stories have entertained audiences all over the country and abroad. Joe’s adventurous spirit has also seen him living in a pickup truck for the best part of a year in North America and also walking 1400 miles from Chicago to New Orleans with a guitar on his back! Joe reached the Semifinals of ITV’s The Voice in 2021 and was described by Sir Tom Jones as “a Weaver of Dreams!”.

    Sand & Stone

    Sand and Stone are a sibling duo from Folkestone in Kent, writing original acoustic/ folk rock music accompanied by their dynamic and soulful harmonies. Abi and Tom have performed together across the UK since 2010, playing at a variety of venues and festivals. They have showcased their original material at the Songwriters Masterclass event held at the Apple store in Covent Garden, and in 2018 made it through to the live stages of The Voice UK. In 2023 recorded their first album From Trees to Seas which, whilst on tour, was performed live at a variety of venues along the South Coast of England in preparation for their SOLD OUT album release show.

    Laura Silverstone

    From opening for Steph Strings (AUS), collaborating live with Skinny Living (UK) and Kim Churchill (AUS) in 2024, or her early performance with Glen Hansard in Berlin in 2019, Laura has forged a reputation as one of the most exciting, energetic and talented performers on the circuit. Her ‘Heartwood’ album tour sold hundreds of tickets across the UK, Europe, Australia and saw her debut in the US after securing 20,000 streams in its first week of release.

    Sorrel Nation

    Travelling troubadour Sorrel Nation expertly weaves a rooted Americana sound blending folk-rock and country into songs shaped by life on the road. With emotive lyrics, and a voice that carries real depth and feeling, Sorrel truly connects with audiences and invites them in to a snapshot of her heart. 2024 and 2025 marked a period of significant and exciting growth and momentum for Sorrel releasing a body of work that reflects both the intimacy of her songwriting and the scale of her live performances. This included the delicate live EP 'Thirty Summers', her critically acclaimed debut studio album 'Lost En Route' with its subsequent release on vinyl and a new 'Live & Acoustic' EP that strips her songs back to their core.

    Oli McCracken

    Oli McCracken, a British/American Singer-Songwriter, currently resides in London, having spent his formative years between Chicago and Denver. His musical journey began with the release of his debut EP, “From Scratch” in 2016, marking the inception of a career deeply rooted in honest song writing and soulful vocals. Venturing through Colorado’s music scene, Oli honed his craft, captivating audiences with original music that echoes the essence of Americana.

    Born and bred in the Lake District, the beautiful landscapes can be credited for inspiring J Lewis' unique style. Previously an unknown multi instrumentalist Lewis has hit the scene with a bang playing festivals and venues UK wide establishing recognition for his powerful vocals and charismatic performances.

FAQs

  • Are children welcome?

    Yes under 15's are welcome free of charge, under 18's must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

  • Can I camp?

    We hope you do! Just add a camping pitch ticket as well as your general admission. Pitches are 5x5 meter or 7x7 meter and for up to 4 adults.

  • Can I bring an awning?

    As long as your awning fits in your pitch it's alright by us.

  • Can I bring my dog?

    If your canine companion is a sociable beast by all means bring them along. We just ask that you keep them on a lead around the performance area, and tidy up after them.

  • Is there food available?

    Zianna of Camp Canteen will be there with her retro puds and custard plus award winning Bangers with mash.

    The pub also has a small kitchen and dining area but you'll need to book in advance.

  • Can I bring my own beverages?

    During event performance times all beverages must be purchased form the pub, they're looking after us so please look after them to. If you are camping with us and wish to have a little tipple in your van or tent after hours, that's all cool.

  • Are BBQ's Fire pits allowed?

    BBQ's are allowed but must be at least 1 foot off the ground. At the request of the venue please do not bring your own fire pits. We will be having monitored fire pits around the performance area.

  • What are the site facilities?

    The pub has toilet facilities, 1 toilet of which is accessible over night. There are also a couple of portable toilets in the camping/performance field. There is access to a water supply as well.
    We are small gatherings with a small crew and ask you please to take all waste and recycling with you at the end of the event 🙏

  • When can I arrive?

    Gates are from 12:00 noon for all.

  • When does the music start/finish?

    We'll be going live from 15:00 ish and wrapping amplified music by 23:00 when we'll take it unplugged and fireside.

  • What time do we have to leave?

    If you're camping with us there is no rush off site on Sunday and just speak with the pub landlord if you'd like to stop another evening.
