CWA Jams & Preserves
Description
CWA turning damaged fruit into yummy jam.
Our group of dedicated girls have learnt how to turn excess into a usable product.
We are having a day at Kariong where we will cook some plum jam, a pickle, maybe some lemon butter.
We want to share our knowledge on preserve making, washing and preparing the bottles, the dos and don'ts of preserving.
Come along for a fun day!
Ticket funds will go to CWA towards their costs.
CWA Mangrove Mountain Evening Branch
The group meet at the Mangrove Mountain Union Church Hall, 2154 Wisemans Ferry Road, on the second Tuesday of the month at 4:00pm to 8:00pm. A second get together is held on the 4th Tuesday of each month also at 4pm for handicraft, cooking lessons and general camaraderie.
