Cyanotypes and Fungi on the GreenWay: A Workshop

Join artist Floria Tosca in an enlightening discussion and hands on workshop at Hoskins Park!
Floria has been commissioned to create a public artwork on the GreenWay which will celebrate and illuminate mycelium networks.
In this 2 hour outdoor event you will learn about Floria's artistic process, hear from a fungi expert, and discover the world of Cyanotype printmaking. You will use natural materials gathered from the park to create beautiful images on paper that will remind you of your connection to this place, and the hidden connection of mycelium under the earth.
Guest speaker: Dr Prudence Gibson, a writer and academic in environmental aesthetics, researching the critical relevance of plants for all beings during this epoch of extinction.
No cyanotype, or fungi expertise necessary. Families, nature lovers, ecologists, creatives, locals all welcome!
