Abstract:

Cyber risk is no longer just an IT issue. With organisations increasingly connected through suppliers, technology providers, contractors and third parties, a weakness anywhere in the supply chain can have consequences far beyond a single organisation.

Join ACS Victoria and the ISACA Melbourne Chapter for an accessible and engaging discussion exploring why cyber risk is supply chain risk, and what this means for organisations, professionals and the broader community.

The session will unpack the changing cyber threat landscape, the growing importance of supply chain resilience and the role we all play in strengthening cyber security. It will also consider the evolving national cyber security landscape and what organisations can do to better prepare for the risks ahead.

Key topics will include:

The changing nature of cyber risk across modern supply chains
Critical infrastructure and supply chain resilience
Cyber skills and sovereign capability
Practical approaches to managing supply chain cyber risk

Whether you work in technology or cyber security, lead a business, manage suppliers, work in risk or governance, or simply want to better understand the cyber risks shaping our increasingly connected world, this conversation is for you!
