Get moving across the City of Belmont!

We're encouraging everyone to get active this MOVEtober and WA Bike Month with a bike ride around our city!

Enjoy a fun and social ride with your family or friends while exploring local places on your bike. You’ll be joined by experienced cycle leaders who will guide small groups through a dedicated long or short route. This will be a great opportunity to build more confidence on your bike and to meet some new people in your community.

Choose your ride!

There are two bike routes for you to choose from:

• Long ride of approximately 23km

• Short ride of approximately 8km

Rides will depart at various times across the morning.

Prepare your bike

If you need assistance with your bike before commencing your ride, you can book a free appointment with our on-site bike mechanic.

We will also have a limited number of bikes available for hire if you are wanting to join us! Make sure you add bike hire to your ticket registration and complete the details requested to ensure we have a bike suitable for you on the day.

Where to meet

Rides will start and end at the Belmont Hub Plaza located between the Civic Centre and Belmont Hub. Light morning tea and coffee vouchers will be available after your ride so you can enjoy the company!

This event is part of WA Bike Month and delivered with support from the Department of Transport and Major Infrastructure.

WA Bike Month encourages people of all ages and abilities to ride bikes for transport, fun and a healthier lifestyle. It’s an opportunity for new, novice or rusty riders to explore the state’s world class paths and trails, connect with their community, and discover the joy and benefits that bike riding has to offer.
