Whether you haven’t ridden a bike for years or want to try it for the first time, our Cycle Well course will help you learn the basic skills to get riding. Pedal Power’s Cycle Well learn-to-ride course provides tailored tuition for adult beginners who want to learn how to ride a bike.

Led by qualified instructors and supported by great volunteers, this five-week program is held entirely in a non-traffic environment so you can learn safely at your own pace. You will be assessed at the first lesson to ensure you get the level of training that is right for you.

If you do not have a bike of your own, you can use one of Pedal Power’s bikes to complete the course. When you register for this course you will be asked whether you need to use a Pedal Power bike. You will need to provide your own Australian Standards helmet.

This course consists of one-hour sessions across 5 consecutive weekends. The dates are:

Sunday 3rd November
Sunday 10th November
Sunday 17th November
Sunday 24th November
Sunday 11 December

Based on your experience you will be placed in one of two time slots; 1-2pm or 2:15–3:15pm.
