CYCLES OF HEALTH

THE WAY OF THE 5 ELEMENTS

Embrace nature and the cycles of life and health through the lens of the Chinese medical 5 Elements. As we learn to perceive life and health through this lens we sense the dynamic movement of harmony and balance all around us and within us.

By learning the qualities and temperaments of the 5 Chinese elements, we enhance our own connection with mind, body and spirit and become attuned to the nuances of nature and life as we continually cycle through seasons and states. A state of deeper listening and understanding is the path to personal empowerment and the understanding of maintaining true health and vitality. It is to accept the changes and the cycles and live accordingly. As vital and alive beings of this earth we shift and change through each day, week, month, season and year, it is to be in true health to be able to change and merge with the cycles around us to express different archetypes of our being and nourish each one with fullness.

In this workshop we will touch on the basics of Fire, Earth, Metal, Water and Wood, the 5 key elements of Chinese medicine. Through discussion and different practises we unravel misconceptions around health and wellness and find the truth of living in healthy and happy harmony. Explore the organs, emotions, foods, flavours and energies of movement that support and imbalance each element, to become tools for remedy when imbalance occurs.

As we meet each element within us, we begin to see our strengths and our weaknesses, where we become comfortable and complacent in habitual being and what helps us to grow, evolve and thrive.

Everyone is welcome to this space, and no prior Chinese medical knowledge or experience is necessary.

Lunch, snacks and teas will be provided for the workshop.
