Cymbalism: Work in Progress Showing 

What happens when your body becomes an instrument?

Join Sydney-based percussionist and artist Alon Ilsar and creative technologist Matt Hughes for a work-in-progress showing of their interactive installation Cymbalism, which uses motion-controlled AirSticks technology to transform gesture into sound.

Alon and Matt will perform the results of their residency at Darebin Arts Centre, supported by Speak Percussion, offering a glimpse into how the AirSticks read movement in real time to manipulate cymbals, shape evolving sonic textures, and create visual feedback linked to performers' movements.
