Round 1 kicks off as a two day event at Collie Stadium.

D1WA is Perth's premier, volunteer-run not-for-profit drift racing club, offering safe, organised drifting events and competitions in Western Australia. It serves as a hub for all skill levels, providing practice, and the state's official championship
Purpose: The club provides a safe, legal environment to practice drifting, reducing anti-social, illegal behaviour on public roads.
Events: They host around 15 events annually, including practice days and the official WA State Championship.
Community: Open to all skill levels, from beginners to professionals, with opportunities for passenger rides for spectators.
Structure: It is a, member-based organisation supported by volunteers.
This is an AASA licensed event, you will need the following: AASA License (Club Race License)ย https://aasa.com.au/licences/
SCRUTINEERING: all cars will be checked by scrutineers at this event.
NOTE: all genuine harnesses have a hologram on the left shoulder strap and are still passable 5 years past the FIA expiry date. If you did not buy your harnesses brand new from a genuine race shop or have any doubts, please send photos to us before the event and we will let you know if they will pass.
DRIVER Requirements: Helmets, enclosed shoes, Long sleeves & Long pants.
Basic vehicle requirements are as follows;
Fire extinguisher within drivers reach, no hot liquid in cabin), seat firmly mounted, rubbers on pedals, no steering slop, fuel cells must be correctly sealed, battery mounted securely and positive terminal covered, no holes in front and rear firewalls, catch can secure and of adequate volume. Glass headlights need to be covered/taped, tail and brake lights working, tow points accessible (please ensure it is clear and easy for our recovery vehicle to hook on to your tow points otherwise your car may get damaged!), bonnet has 2 forms of latching, exhaust secure and exits in correct place, no body damage that would cause a risk to safety.
