Drawing from psychology, philosophy, and linguistics, I’ll examine how rapport is built and maintained, how neurochemistry and cognitive biases affect communication, and how strategic use of language can shift power dynamics. Ultimately, the talk shows that controlling language isn’t just about persuasion—it’s about understanding the deep structures that govern human interaction.

About the Speaker

People’s thoughts, behaviours, emotions, and decisions are shaped by the narratives we construct, the philosophical frameworks underpinning our judgments, and the subtle dynamics of verbal and non-verbal communication. As a psycholinguist and applied philosopher, Luke works with individuals and groups to enhance their ability to communicate and negotiate by integrating psychological research, philosophical analysis, Socratic questioning, linguistic deconstruction, and negotiation psychology. By mastering communication, negotiation, and questioning, he helps others gain the power to shape their interactions and influence the trajectory of desired outcomes.
