The da Vinci Decathlon sessions are designed to challenge and stimulate the minds of school students as they take part in introductory workshops focused on 10 separate academic disciplines.
Glenn Stephenson will be covering the following over the 8 hour course:
The da Vinci Decathlon sessions are purposefully designed to develop the unique academic potential of students by providing them with a stimulating and challenging experience run in the spirit of an Olympic Decathlon. They will take part in 10 unique academic disciplines outlined below:
- Engineering
- Mathematics and Chess
- Code Breaking
- Art and Poetry
- Science
- English
- Ideation
- Creative Producers
- Cartography
- Legacy.
Within each of these disciplines, students will be given the opportunity to collaborate with their peers in small groups to try and solve a range of academic tasks and challenges presented to them in an engaging, online learning environment. Time will be spent exploring the various academic problems before deconstructing how to best solve them utilizing specific techniques and strategies, which they can then apply when participating in the actual da Vinci competition.
ABOUT GLENN STEPHENSON
Highly regarded and sought after Junior school leader with decades of experience. With a vast array of educational experience, Glenn brings a multitude of teaching methods to his students.

Glenn is an experienced teacher and leader, having worked in various educational systems throughout his career. Glenn is committed to providing comprehensive instruction that fosters the individual development of each student across all areas of their learning.
Glenn began teaching as the Literacy and Numeracy Coordinator (K-6) and then transitioned to another school as a Year Five classroom teacher and House Leader.Â
Following this, Glenn worked at Knox Grammar Preparatory School for seven years and was appointed to multiple leadership positions during his tenure. Most recently, Glenn was the Head of Learning & Teaching (Pre K - Year 6) and Head of Academic Care (Pre K - Year 6) at Masada College and commencing in 2022, Glenn has been appointed as the Director of Junior School at St Patrick’s College, Strathfield.Â
Glenn is a dedicated and professional educator.  Understanding the importance of striving for excellence in every area, his passion in education results in a positive and engaging learning environment.
