Streamtime and DBC Happier, Healthier Business Canvas Workshop | Pōneke
Event description
The Happier, Healthier Business Canvas is a tool developed by Streamtime CEO Andy Wright and Design Business Council’s Carol Mackay and Greg Branson.
Following years of creative agency business management and consulting and building on more recent research and accreditation in workplace wellbeing, Carol, Greg and Andy have joined forces to create a diagnostic tool to help manage happier, healthier creative businesses.
While there are many ‘tools’ and ‘business models’ out in the world, the team recognised that a holistic profitability and wellbeing canvas with relevance for the nuances of creative businesses – was missing.
In this workshop, Andy will share the use cases for the canvas.
You will learn:
- The principles behind running a business making a healthy profit with happy people.
- Where to start when addressing the challenges in your business, what questions to ask, what data to interrogate and what to do next.
- Example scenarios including: how to manage an underperforming junior designer, how to address being busier than ever without the profit to show for it, how to work out if you can afford to expand the team.
- How to use the canvas and ‘workshop’ a specific problem relating to your current business challenges.
- How others are tackling their challenges, in a confidential, not outside these walls space.
All attendees will receive a PDF copy of the canvas along with qualifying questions and context for each element.
This workshop is for:
- Creative industry business owners
- All management and leadership levels
- People with direct reports
- The canvas covers the balance between individual leader strengths, business models AND team strengths, motivations and areas for development. If these (or some of) fall under your remit, then this workshop is for you.
This workshop will be followed by the Pōneke edition of the DA LUNCH CLUB. Book them back-to-back here for an immersive day out working on yourself and / or your business.
