Elevating Design Leadership: From Maker to Mentor

Do you manage people or lead a team in your role? 
Design Assembly presents a workshop to support you to navigate the challenges and opportunities you face leading people in your work.  We all can remember the best and the worst boss we ever had.  If your job is only as good as your boss, how do we give our leaders the right skills to support their people well?

In a profession that thrives on innovation, collaboration, and pushing the boundaries of creativity, your role goes beyond just being a manager of people. In this workshop, we will focus on practical strategies to help you transition from being a manager to a mentor and coach by giving you essential skills such as;

  • Mastering Key Coaching Conversations: Discover three key coaching conversations to drive alignment and performance.
  • Having Productive Coaching Conversations: Learn a model for conducting productive coaching conversations and transform from a boss to a coach.
  • Practical Strategies to Drive Engagement: Only 22% of staff are engaged in NZ, learn how to make your team hum.
  • Adjusting Leadership and Communication: Adapt your leadership and communication style to meet your team members’ needs, enhancing results and creativity.
