Dads & Lads! Why not spend some time together learning a new skill? Interested? Come and join us for an introduction to Pyrography, the free-handed art of decorating wood or other materials with burn marks, it is also known as wood burning.
This workshop is an opportunity for Dad, Uncle, Grandparent or other adult friend to attend with a young person aged 8+ for a quick 1 hour creative Saturday morning activity. Register in groups of two only (one adult and one young person per group).
Experience the art of pyrography with a wood burning tool that will help you draw personalised designs. The wood burning tool is a pen-like device with a metal end, through which the heat is transferred to the surface you wish to burn. We will have a variety of designs for you to choose from and we will be working on coasters that you can keep for yourself or give them away as Christmas presents!
No experience is necessary, and everything is included in this short workshop - ALL MATERIALS PROVIDED
