Dads Talk Periods: Bondi Dads Group Event

What do dads need to know about periods? And how can we help make conversations about menstruation more open, comfortable and stigma-free?

Join the Bondi Dads Group for a special Dads Talk Periods session with UWA researcher Dani Barrington and parenting influencer and Australian Father of the Year, Matty J, for an open and honest chat about periods, puberty and how dads can support their daughters through it all.

We’ll bust some myths, tackle the awkward stuff and share practical tips to help you feel more comfortable talking about periods at home.

What’s involved?

Practical tips for navigating conversations about periods, puberty and supporting your children as they grow.
An open Q&A with Dani Barrington and Matty J, with the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about periods and menstrual health.
An opportunity to connect with other local dads, share experiences and learn from one another in a welcoming, supportive environment.

Whether you’ve already had the period talk or have no idea where to begin, this is a great opportunity to learn a thing or two, ask questions and connect with other dads.

This event is presented by The Fathering Project in conjunction with Waverley Council.
