Two brothers in love with music, and each other, would drive from Avalon Beach into the big city once a month armed with two turntables, a mixer, and two milkcrates of records to throw a lil party. They called it DANGEROUS DAN AND BUMPIN BENNY B”S BARGAIN BASEMENT BOOTY BAR. They taught themselves to DJ at the party, taking their learnings from the dancefloor. Their friend AJAX. DANCE LEGEND (RIP) would pop in between gigs to give tips and would always end up at the end of the night taking over the decks and closing out the party.
