Event description

Agritech: Dairy Farming for the Future

Change is needed for the dairy industry in response to increasing environmental and commercial pressures. Can agritech solutions be a catalyst for this change?

Callaghan Innovation, DairyNZ, and Lincoln University are collaborating to host Agritech: Dairy Farming for the Future. This day-long industry event is designed to delve openly and honestly into the challenges facing the sector, and offer a glimpse into what an agritech-enabled future might look like.

Panelists will discuss and debate key topics including emission reduction for grass-based livestock, monitoring animal health, the rise of remote sensing technologies, land and soil management through regenerative agricultural systems, and carbon capture technologies.

What does an environmentally and commercially sustainable dairy farming industry look like to you? Come along to hear what leading researchers, tech-specialists, and large-scale dairy farmers think, and add your voice to the mix too.

Please note: Ticket price includes lunch, dinner and bus transportation.
