ABOUT DAN QUIGLEY
Dan Quigley is an Australian Jazz Trumpet player, composer and bandleader. Dan has performed with The Australian National Jazz Orchestra, Vincent Gardner, Jerome Jennings, Sherman Irby, Rodney Whitaker, Mike Nock, Dale Barlow, Grace Knight, Yothu Yindi, amongst many more. Dan has performed in the New York, New Orleans, UK, Europe and Japan
Dan is currently the Head of School at Jazz Music Institute (JMI) where he fosters the development and well-being of the student cohort and designs curriculum. Dan teaches a range of subjects from Jazz Improvisation, theory, history and leads the JMI Jazz Orchestra.
This performance will also feature, Jordy Stitt on Piano, Nick Quigley on Bass and Sam Castan on drums. The music being performed will be a mix of jazz standards and originals.
