Dance Casino (Cuban Salsa) Beginners NEW COURSE [T3]

ATTENTION all dancers and Latin dance fans from Nelson/Tasman region, let’s get together to enjoy a few hours of one of the most elegant-fun-spicy Latin styles in the world: CUBAN CASINO (known as "Cuban Salsa") and Rueda de casino.

Casino is a form of partner dancing that was created in Cuba in the middle of the 1950s. Since then, it has become one of the most popular and widespread forms of Cuban social dance.

When there are more than 2 partners, the dance will be done in a circle shape or Rueda. This dance style is great to create a social environment among the dancers or the people who are watching. It is also lots of fun.

The course will cover basic steps of how to starts dancing Casino, incorporating more complex turns and body movements as the course progresses covering Cuban styling tips for both men and women.
