Dancing Dhevas present Sunday morning Dance Church

Dance as prayer, a celebration of life through movement and rejoicing.

Following no specific religion but with utmost respect to all faiths we dance to feel good and celebrate life. In reverence we attune to all who attend, lifting each other up in true ecstatic dance spirit.

Music crossing genres will thread together the spiritual elements of cultures around the globe, from Gospel and Christian to Hindu, Sufi, Islam and Rastafarianism. Music connects us all, praise and rejoice to a higher source through a dancing prayer.

We congregate on the lawns of the Round house in Fremantle, utilising the latest silent disco headsets we can dance to music without disturbing the public and ensuring sonic safety for the wildlife around us. The soft grass makes for a great dance floor with a view over the ocean at bathers beach, dive in for a dip after the dance, a fantastic way to start the day.

Come pray(Dance) with us!

8am to 10am, check in closes at 8:20, we start and end together.

NEW TO DANCING DHEVAS...

Dancing Dhevas is a free form practice that invites you to engage in life as only you can, to move with such authenticity that it liberates the bubbles of ecstasy.

The ecstatic dance is a process of delving into your own individual, original dance, it is so unique to you and how you move that it can not be reproduced by anyone else. This gives us the freedom from constraints and judgements so we can explode our potential to move until it unleashes the dancer within. The room takes on a different energy as everyone drops into their dance and natural ecstasy is reached.

Come as you are or bring a friend, we share a dance floor of like minded souls who move as one and celebrate life in all its complexities by being in the moment.
