DANCE CLASSES FOR EVERY BODY

AUSTI. Dance and Physical Theatre's contemporary dance style classes are designed to improve mobility, cardiovascular fitness, strength, co-ordination and balance, and structured to move you within your capacity. 

We believe that dance is a fun and creative way to obtain regular exercise and the dance classes we offer will do just that, by engaging your imagination and sense of play.

No movement background or experience required. 

THE CLASSES INCLUDE;

• Classes taught by professional and experienced dance teachers.
• A supportive, friendly and fun environment for all abilities
• A simple warmup
• Learning basic movements
• Creative expression
• Repeated movement combinations to assist learning and allow progression
• Adaptions to meet individual needs

The music and movements are selected to prioritise social connection and enjoyment. The classes aim to provide a joyful space for people with diverse abilities and levels of experience to engage in dance and movement.

Classes will be weekly and run for one hour & fifteen minutes starting at 10:00am on MONDAY 8 APRIL with the last class on MONDAY 17 JUNE 2024. 

Please wear clothing that you are comfortable to move in including gym/walking shoes with rubber soles.

COST

• $200 for block of 10 classes 

• $25 for one 'taster' class

Classes will run all year until early December.

No refunds will be given for cancellations initiated by the registered applicant, except in the case of a medical condition. In the case of cancellation directly by AUSTI. Dance & Physical Theatre a full refund of tuition fees will be issued to all fully registered applicants. AUSTI. Dance & Physical Theatre reserves the right to alter the advertised program should it be deemed necessary.

Dance & Physical Theatre takes all care in the conduct of classes, it accepts no responsibility for injury or loss to persons or property caused during classes or whilst participants are at or near the dance studios for the duration of the workshops. Furthermore AUSTI. Dance & Physical Theatre will not incur any medical, ambulance or dental fees and/or costs incurred for repairs or replacement in the event of accident or injury to a participant or their property, however caused including negligent act or omission by any of it’s Directors, servants or agents engaged by AUSTI. Dance & Physical Theatre in any capacity from time to time."
