    ~ Holly Lester ~

Holly Lester, originally from rural Northern Ireland, has made a name for herself in the world of house and techno. Emerging from England's north-west dance scene, she quickly gained recognition by playing at renowned venues such as Shine, Chibuku Shake Shake, and The Warehouse Project. Holly's talent has taken her to cities across Europe, including Baku, Tbilisi, Berlin, Amsterdam, and Prague. Known for her distinctive percussive energy, she blends raw analogue jams, dreamy trance melodies, and swirling breakbeats in her own unique style.

Beyond the DJ booth, Holly's passion for music extends to radio, with appearances on BBC NI, Rinse FM, RTE 2fm, and more. She is also a founding resident of Manchester's Limbo station and started her own record label, Duality Trax, in 2020. The label embraces the concept of balance and inclusivity, showcasing contrasting energies and emotions in each release. In 2022, Holly launched her second label, 'Terrazzo,' together with artist and label runner Steffan Todorović.

Off the dance-floor, Holly actively campaigns for the Northern Irish night-time economy. In early 2021, she co-founded Free The Night to advocate for positive changes in NI nightlife. Her dedication to the scene and humble demeanor have earned her nominations, including the DJ Mag Best of British awards in 2021, where she was recognized as an 'Underground Hero.'

Dance Flaws would like to acknowledge the traditional owners of the land, the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation, as we pay respect to elders past and present. Sovereignty was never ceded.
