♥  What does a bag need to contain?

      !! Please Read !!

The $5 ticket fee is charged to cover the cost of studio hire and to discourage no-shows. Any remaining funds collected will be donated to Share the Dignity. Please ensure that you are able to attend on the day and bring a bag for donation before purchasing a ticket. Spots are limited and if you don't show up, there will be one less bag collected for a woman in need. If you can't make any of the workshops but still want to get involved, you can donate bags directly by dropping them off at your nearest Bunnings Warehouse. More info here.

♥ What is Share the Dignity?

Share the Dignity works to make a real, on-the-ground difference to the lives of women, girls and those who menstruate who are experiencing or are at risk of homelessness, domestic violence or poverty. They collect and distribute period and hygeine products around Australia. You might have seen their period product free vending machines in schools and public toilets. They do incredible work.

      ♥ What is #itsinthebag?

Every year in November, Share the Dignity run a Christmas drive called #itsinthebag to collect bags full of period and hygeine products for women and girls. Homelessness increases around the holiday season and women are often forced to choose between buying food to eat or buying expensive period products.

      ♥ What's Dance for Dignity?

A group of us are coming together to run dance workshops this year to collect bags for the #itsinthebag drive. It aims to raise awareness about this worthy cause, to collect bags and gets our wonderful dance community together. We have workshops running for a variety of styles including Bollywood, Bollyhop, Semi-classical and more!
